Camel Coat: Buy Now, Wear Forever

ENG - Today it's all about the long coat, definitely the protagonist star of this closing winter season. From 50 shades of gray to all the other hues, the one I find the most stylish is the camel.

Indeed, this season, the camel coat has been given a cool, oversized and midi-length makeover, and goes great with any kind of style and personality: from boho-chic to casual street style.

Since Max Mara's iconic 101801 coat was created in 1981, the camel coat has been a recurring item in the fashion-savvy women's closet.

Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Céline and Hugo Boss and many other high-end fashion houses all sent camel coats down the A/W 2014 catwalks, demonstrating that the color and style is no less current than it was back
in 1981.

HOW TO WEAR IT.

Shorter and sharper collars can be twisted up during chillier months for a dressed-down edge, whereas wider lapels should be belted or left undone for a more relaxed silhouette that surrounds the outfit. Anyway camel and classic denim are since-ever BFFs: this is why I’ve worn it with my fave ripped black jeans, my Steve Madden leopard slip-on and my new fringed leather bag by ZARA.
